Continuing its commitment to the music platform with Telemundo, State Farm is the title sponsor of the “2011 Billboard Mexican Music Awards presented by State Farm.” The State Farm sponsorship will include local promotion, as well as two events in Los Angeles. The local promotion contest, entitled “Dance Your Way to the Mexican Music Awards,” took place on Friday, October 14 at 9PM PST. The first 50 couples registered competed in a dance off set to Mexican Music for a chance to win a unique experience at the “2011 Billboard Mexican Music Awards presented by State Farm.” Five winners were chosen based on originality, style, and the ability to capture the spirit of Mexican music. Each winning couple received an exclusive invitation to attend the awards show on Thursday, October 27 at the Orpheum Theater, where they will have a chance to be a part of the audience and dance along to the performances by the night’s featured artists.
