Nation’s No. 1 Latin Pizza Brand launches "Nothing Like the Holidays" National Online Sweepstakes.

The 95-unit Pizza Patrón said today that it kicked-off its Nothing Like the Holidays national online sweepstakes in conjunction with the October 27th release of the DVD and Blu-ray™ in stores everywhere.

Pizza Patrón launched the online promotion with Anchor Bay Entertainment in conjunction with the October 27 DVD/Blu-ray™ release of Nothing Like the Holidays, by award-winning director Alfredo De Villa. The PG-13 comedy/drama stars Luis Guzmán, John Leguizamo, Debra Messing, Alfred Molina and Freddy Rodriguez and is a humorous and heartwarming story of one unforgettable family reunion during the holidays.

The Grand Prize for the promotion includes a flat screen TV, Blu-ray™ disc player and the Nothing Like the Holidays Blu-ray™ edition. Twenty runner-ups will receive a copy of Nothing Like the Holidays on DVD. Winners will be selected randomly and notified at the end of the contest.

Customers can enter to win at pizzapatron.com from November 1st through November 30th, 2009 for a chance to win the Grand Prize, view the movie trailer and download wallpapers for their computer. Pizza Patrón, the premier Latin pizza brand, has posted comparable sales increases each month of 2009 leading to a 5.98 percent third quarter increase over 2008. The company cited its entrepreneurial spirit, expansion of new store models, and continued focus on creating a unique Latin experience in its stores for its increase in earnings.

"The 'llégale' or 'go get it' attitude that embodies our team makes it easy for us to react faster to market demands than the larger chains can," said Andrew Gamm, brand director for Pizza Patrón. "The creative process is extremely short for us when it comes to taking ideas to market execution."

Concepts such as Pizza Patrón's new QSP™ (Quick Service Pizza) model, which has moved the company closer to the fast-food segment, have helped in the company's positive growth. Pizza Patrón partners with Pepsi to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Pizza Patrón, the nation’s number one Latin pizza brand, has teamed with Pepsi in a national, co-branded promotion in all of its stores.

The promotion began Sept. 1 and was specifically designed to celebrate and honor the Latin culture and lifestyle during Hispanic Heritage Month. It is a bilingual promotion, but Spanish language dominant. Advertisements for the promotion read, "!Viva Latino! Pizza Patrón y Pepsi® Festejan el Mes Patrio," meaning, “Pizza Patrón and Pepsi celebrate this historic, patriotic month for all Latinos of diverse roots.”

With any 2-liter purchase of Pepsi products through Sept. 30, customers will receive a free phone egrip® Non-Slip Strip. The egrip is a protective, silicone material which can be applied to the back of a cell phone to make it easier to handle and prevent it from sliding on any surface.

The free egrip® features the Pizza Patrón and Pepsi logos, as well as Pizza Patrón’s slogan, “Latin Life, Enjoy.™” which reinforces the company’s unique focus while broadening its current customer base by inviting every demographic to enjoy and experience the diversity found within the Latin lifestyle.

"Pizza Patron, the premier Latino pizza brand, rolled out its new AMIGO PIZZA(TM) in all of its restaurants nationwide. For the first time in the company's 22 year history, they are offering a 12-inch medium pizza as an alternative to their signature 15-inch X-Large pie.

The AMIGO PIZZA(TM) was launched under the banner "Un Amigo para Todos" (an Amigo for everyone) with a campaign featuring three distinct "Choose Your Amigo" value options - one-topping $4, two or three toppings $5 and specialty pizzas for only $6 each. The new product compliments the company's existing everyday pricing structure and underscores its straight-forward approach to transacting with guests.
