“Veteran stand-up comedian and television star George Lopez will host the final show of the Latino Laugh Festival on Sunday, June 24, 7pm, at the prestigious Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Presented by Time Warner Cable of Southern California, Si TV’s Latino Laugh Festival (http://www.latinolaughfestival.com/) will feature three hilarious nights from June 22-24 with more than thirty comics and a long list of celebrities at seven prime Hollywood venues. Lopez has been a long time supporter and performer at previous Latino Laugh
Festivals, which were held in San Antonio, Texas.

All proceeds of the 2007 Latino Laugh Festival will benefit First Star (www.firststar.org/), a leading non-profit organization that advocates for the welfare and protection of the more than 3 million U.S. children in institutions, foster care and on the streets.

Si TV Founder, Creator and Executive Producer of the Latino Laugh Festival, Jeff Valdez states, “George has been with us since the beginning and I’m very happy that he is coming onboard with us again. This year we have a great line-up of talent leading up to the finale. It’s going to rock!”

Also joining the Latino Laugh Festival this year as confirmed celebrity hosts and headline comics are Judy Reyes (Scrubs), Mario Lopez (Dancing With The Stars), Adam Rodriguez (CSI: Miami), Nadine Velasquez (My Name Is Earl), Giselle Fernandez (TV Journalist, Dancing with the Stars), Rick Salinas and Herbert Siquenza of Culture Clash, Carlos Alazraqui (Reno 911), Bobby Lee (Mad TV), Johnny Sanchez, and Willie Barcena.

Thanks to the generous support of title sponsor Time Warner Cable, this year’s Latino Laugh Festival comes to the heart of Los Angeles, with shows at seven exciting venues up and down Hollywood Blvd. Confirmed venues include: Ricardo Montalban Theatre, Cinespace, Improv Olympic, The Andy Dick Black Box Theater, the Knitting Factory, King King Theatre and the Kodak Theater.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster. More information about the Festival is available at www.latinolaughfestival.com/. “
