Trailer

“A beautiful businesswoman gets more than she bargained for after hiring a handsome stranger as her groom in the Oxygen romantic comedy Husband For Hire, premiering Saturday, January 19 at 8 p.m. (all times ET/PT). The all-star cast is led by Mark Consuelos and Nadine Velazquez, with television veterans Mario Lopez, Erik Estrada and Tempestt Bledsoe rounding out the cast.

Velazquez stars as Lola Dia, a career-savvy perfectionist who has twenty-four hours to find a husband, or she will lose her share of the family business. In order to satisfy a clause in her late mother’s will that requires her to be married by the age of twenty-five, Lola hires local workman Bo (Mark Consuelos) to become her husband, much to the objection of her ex-fiancee Marco (Mario Lopez). Joined by her best friend Nina (Tempestt Bledsoe), Lola makes Bo over to fit squarely into the expectations of her demanding, traditional father Victor (Erik Estrada) and gain his mandatory approval. Their wild ride to the altar takes a surprising turn as handsome, fun-loving Bo turns out to be much more than Lola expected, and they are forced to stay one step ahead of the scheming Marco, who is determined to win Lola back.

Husband For Hire is from executive producers Tim Perell and Howard Gertler of Process Media and writer/director Kris Isacsson. The movie was shot on-location in New Mexico.

Mark Consuelos can be seen in the upcoming feature film Wedding Daze, opposite Isla Fisher and Jason Biggs. He is well-known for his role as Mateo Santos on the long-running soap favorite All My Children, where he played opposite his wife Kelly Ripa. His extensive television credits include Age of Love, Missing, Hope and Faith, Beautiful Girl, Third Watch and Friends; and he has appeared in feature films including My Super Ex-Girlfriend and The Great Raid.

Nadine Velazquez stars as Catalina in the NBC hit comedy My Name is Earl, with Jason Lee and Jaime Pressly. In its inaugural season the show received the People’s Choice Award, SAG Award for Best New Comedy Series and TCA Award for Best New Show. Velazquez has also been seen in Kings of South Beach, Biker Boyz, Chasing Papi and Entourage.

Mario Lopez, who danced his way to America’s hearts on the hit show Dancing With The Stars, is also the official host of Weekend Extra. He recently starred in the ABC Family movie Holiday in Handcuffs and has a recurring role on Nip/Tuck. Mario is also slated to star in the upcoming CW half-hour comedy Eight Days a Week, opposite Christina Millian.

Erik Estrada’s macho, humorous portrayal of Officer Frank Poncherelo (“Ponch”) on CHiPs has made him a pop culture icon. He has also been discovered by a whole new generation and culture who know him as Johnny from the number-one international series for Televisa, entitled Dos Mujeres, Un Camino.

Tempestt Bledsoe is best known for her role as Vanessa Huxtable in the groundbreaking 1980s sitcom The Cosby Show. She has also appeared in the television series The Practice, Strong Medicine and South of Nowhere.

Tim Perell and Process Media have previously produced My Sexiest Mistake, Tempting Adam and Romancing the Bride for Oxygen. Kris Isacsson also served as writer/director of Romancing the Bride and Tempting Adam.

“Dailymotion, the world’s largest independent video sharing site, and Sí TV, America’s first and only television network to target the millions of 18-34-year old Latinos who prefer their entertainment in English, today announced that Sí TV’s popular programming will now be available on the Dailymotion site. Additionally, Dailymotion will be the exclusive upload partner for the network’s innovative Flow and Tell program. Dailymotion’s global reach will extend the Latino-themed network’s growing audience, giving fans further opportunities for reviewing, posting, and promoting online media. The two companies will share in advertising revenues generated in connection with the content.

The agreement includes access to comedy, music, lifestyle and talk programming from Sí TV’s archived, current and future television broadcasts including the humorous mating game Dating Factory, starring Mario Lopez (Saved By the Bell, Pacific Blue, Animal Planet, Dancing with the Stars) and provocative co-host and former model Carmen Palumbo; music and lifestyle show The Drop, featuring live performances from the biggest names in pop and hip hop along with exclusive celebrity interviews and comedy programs such as Unacceptable Behavior and the Latino Laugh Festival: The Show.

Dailymotion will play a pivotal role in production of Sí TV’s Flow and Tell, which takes self expression to the next level by giving everyday people limitless opportunity to say whatever’s on their mind. Both Dailymotion users and broadcast viewers will be invited to contribute original content by uploading their deepest thoughts, angriest rants, most personal secrets, funniest jokes, and other user-generated videos to Dailymotion’s site and a selection will appear on Sí TV’s television network.

Sí TV clips will be programmed by Dailymotion’s creative managers to appear in the video site’s channels including Funny, Arts, Music and TV. The premium content will be included alongside original videos from Dailymotion’s MotionMaker program for the creative community. This will enable even higher visibility for both the licensed and MotionMaker content, presenting excellent opportunities for MotionMakers to be “discovered” by audiences around the world.

“We’re happy to enter into this relationship with Sí TV, a company that shares our commitment to encouraging creativity, two-way dialogue and freedom of expression,” said Mark Zaleski, executive chairman of Dailymotion. “We believe that Sí TV, Dailymotion and our creative community will all benefit greatly from the addition of these new programs.”

“Since Sí TV’s launch, we have been dedicated to creating and delivering an engaging, interactive experience to our audience,” commented Lisa Black, senior vice president, digital media for Sí TV. “We believe this partnership with Dailymotion will not only further that goal, but also allow us to expose entirely new audiences to our unique brand of culturally-relevant programming.”
