According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment is expected to grow much faster than average for interpreters and translators during the 2008 to 1018 decade due to globalization and the increases in the number of non-English speaking people in the US.

in their 2010 national tour of employment events. The Bilingual job fair will be held at Lakeview Terrace at Chicago Navy Pier on March 18th from 10am-3pm.

The event is designed to connect diversity-conscious employers with skilled job-seekers who posses valuable cultural and multilingual skills.

“When setting the 2010 job fair calendar, we knew that Chicago would once again be on our list because of our history of successful events in that city for the past 3 years,” said Ricardo Villalba, events manager for NSHP. “Chicago never disappoints; regularly bringing a high caliber of experienced jobseekers, and a rich variety of employers who are looking to meet qualified Hispanic and bilingual professionals.”
