Gloria Trevi won’t reveal the identity of her son’s father
Unlike stars Edith González and Érika Buenfil –who recently disclosed the identities of their children’s fathers– Gloria Trevi refuses to follow the tell-all trend, and says she will only reveal the truth to her six-year-old son, Ángel Gabriel, when he inquires.”*

“Univision Communications Inc. NYSE:UVN – Spectacle and surprises abounded Thursday night on the 19th edition of “Premio Lo Nuestro a La MÚsica Latina,” America’s most popular and most-watched Latin music awards show, broadcast live on the Univision Television Network.
The biggest winners of the night with three awards each were Norteño super group Intocable and popular Mexican rock group Maná, followed by international pop sensation RBD, Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañón, Dominican bachata artists Monchy y Alexandra and Aventura, Regional Mexican artist Joan Sebastián, and Puerto Rican Reggaeton artists Wisin y Yandel who each took home two awards. Intocable received three awards in the Regional Mexican category including Best Group or Duo, Song of the Year for “Alguien te Va a Hacer Llorar” and Best Norteño Artist. Maná swept the Rock category winning top honors in all three awards for Album of the Year Amar es Combatir, Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year Labios Compartidos. Receiving one of the biggest ovations of approval from the audience was popular salsa star Marc Anthony as he was awarded Male Artist of the Year in the Tropical Music category.
The star studded show kicked off with a dazzling, fireworks-filled musical number featuring Mexican pop/rock diva Gloria Trevi singing “Todos Me Miran” that ended with her ascending skyward in an explosive, flaming finale. Later, in another visually stunning number, Colombian singer Fonseca sang his hit “Te Mando Flores” (I Send You Flowers) to a virtual field of fans waving over 10,000 real flowers specially flown in from his native country.
In what would be the first of many surprises of the night, Ranchero superstar Pepe Aguilar sang the classic hit “Todo Se Derrumbo” made famous by Mexican pop legend Emmanuel, who appeared in person onstage in a previously unannounced performance to thunderous applause from a clearly surprised audience.
One of the night’s more emotional moments was a video tribute to the career of Dominican singer/songwriter Juan Luis Guerra. Guerra then performed a medley of his greatest hits, after which he was presented the coveted “Premio a la Excelencia” award by two members of the Mexican super group Maná.
Another show highlight was Domincan bachata group Aventura performing for the first time ever with Mexican R&B singer Frankie J. Later, in the final surprise of the evening, the crowd was treated to a dramatic entrance by Reggaetón superstar Don Omar joining popular salsa artist Victor Manuelle in a duet combining both their respective musical genres.
The evening ended with the most hotly contested category of all, the highly anticipated Video of the Year, presented by motion picture star and best-selling recording artist Jennifer Lopez. This award, which crosses all musical genres and whose nominees include some of the biggest names in all of Latin music, ultimately went to Don Omar for “Angelito.”
