Casa Latino Franchise Corporation President, Joe La Rosa commented; “Since the inception of the Casa Latino brand, we’ve been able to achieve a high level of growth, due in part to the ability to attract and recruit a superior level of real estate professional in addition to serving a multi-cultural market by offering community support and in-depth educational instruction within each market. This has created a great deal of interest and faith in the Casa Latino brand. About Casa Latino Franchise Corporation:

Casa Latino was created in 2005 based upon the premise that Hispanic home buyers and sellers have unique needs due to cultural differences and lifestyles. This is bolstered by the fact that those needs are not being effectively served by any other national brand. While the company serves everyone, regardless of heritage, the company’s model is designed to provide superior service to a multicultural market. The company offers franchisees unprecedented culturally specific and significant back office support, training, marketing tools, advertising, coaching, and much more to ensure their success. The franchise model encourages a variety of agent compensation programs which dramatically enhances a broker’s ability to recruit agents. The low franchise fee and an exceptionally low transaction based royalty structure make Casa Latino an extremely attractive opportunity. Casa Latino continues to execute an aggressive growth plan in the USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Europe and several countries in South and Central America.

A Master Franchise Agreement has been signed with Master Franchisor, Italico Srl, to proceed with the development of the Casa Latino brand in Italy. Italico Srl consists of several skilled professionals whose expertise ranges from international brand strategy to the development of franchising systems. Currently assisting one of the leading European fashion companies in strategic planning and development, the principals of Italico Srl feel they are ready to successfully develop the Casa Latino brand in their home country.

From San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy, Mr. Eros Spinozzi, President of Italico Srl, said; “During the year 2008 we had the opportunity to understand the brand position of Casa Latino and at the same time to observe the growing success of the franchise model during a period of huge downturn. We were introduced to this real estate brand by Mr. Sonny Buoncervello, a long time family friend that happened to be one of the pioneers of modern real estate business. We’ve had an extensive business relationship with Sonny through his Florida Referral Network project. Thanks to this experience it was easy for us to deeply understand the great potential of Casa Latino.” In addition, Mr. Maurilio Migliorati, Chairman of Italico Srl added; “Last year the number of second homes abroad purchased by Italians surpassed the number of second homes purchased in the domestic market. In 2009, the total investment by Italians in second homes abroad amounts to more than 4 billion Euros and the USA market accounts for nearly 30% of homes purchased abroad, compared to 7% in 2004. This is why we feel Casa Latino is the right answer to serve the Italy market.”

Mr. Eros Spinozzi is a graduate of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management in Italy and left Italy for 10 years to manage a successful import/export business in the U.S. In 2004, he returned to Italy where he and business partner, Maurilio Migliorati, founded Italico Srl.

Mr. Maurilio Migliorati is a graduate of Bocconi with a degree in Business Strategy. Mr. Migliorati is a former executive in the fashion and high-tech industries in Italy and is now Chairman of Italico Srl.

Casa Latino Franchise Corporation President, Joe La Rosa commented; “We began a successful journey to bridge the gap between the U.S. real estate market and South American real estate markets in 2009 and now look forward to working with Italica Srl to bridge the gap across the Atlantic in 2010. I have a great deal of faith in Mr. Spinozzi and Mr. Migliorati to grow the Casa Latino brand in Italy and consider both gentlemen to be a superior addition to the Casa Latino family.”

Joseph LaRosa of Celebration, Florida has been named President of Casa Latino Franchise Corporation.

Mr. La Rosa joined Casa Latino as a franchise owner with a multi-unit franchise plan for greater Orlando in 2008. Company founder and CEO, Robb Heering commented; “I always knew the time would come for me to delegate key tasks and decisions regarding the company I created. Our system growth of over 100% annually since our inception in 2006 has created an immense executive level workload. It was imperative to find a strong leader to assist with the work involved in developing that amount of growth. Joe La Rosa is much more than a real estate broker, much more than a franchise owner and much more than a developer. His success in the Orlando market combined with his experience as a decision maker and leader, and his ability to cut through the hype and focus on bottom line growth, made him the obvious choice.”

Mr. La Rosa’s role as a corporate officer officially begins on January 1, 2010 but he has already taken the reigns. In addition to having primary responsibility for franchise system growth, Mr. La Rosa's position will eventually evolve into that of Chief Operating Officer.

Heering further stated, “I will personally continue to work tirelessly to grow our brand into a dominant global force. Casa Latino is the fastest growing real estate franchise system in the world and we anticipate that with Joe’s leadership this trend will continue. I have said this many times before…..the world is conspiring in our favor.”

"Casa Latino opened for business in 2005 and is now the fastest growing real estate brand in the US according to Trend Report 2009. Over 15.1% (45.5 million) of the total US population is Hispanic and this group had its largest growth rate in 2007 growing by 3.3%. (Based on May 2007 Census Bureau Report)

However, at Casa Latino it's less about the language barrier and more about the cultural barrier and one of the best examples of this thought process is best described by a member of the Casa Latino executive staff, Jorge Casas. Jorge and his family moved to the US from Venezuela and he began working in Orlando, Florida as a realtor. A few days after he began his new career, a Hispanic family came into the real estate office where he worked and asked for someone who speaks Spanish. Minutes later Jorge appeared to greet the family. He escorted them to his office and began speaking to them about their housing requirements. The head of the family stopped Jorge in the middle of the conversation and said, "Would you mind speaking in English, my Spanish is very broken." The gentleman didn't necessarily need a "Spanish speaking agent" he needed someone who understood his culture and his very specific housing needs.

Casa Latino CEO, Robb Heering, recently joined forces with Joe La Rosa, VP La Rosa Companies and brought the brand to Central Florida. After acquiring the Area Development rights to Central Florida Casa Latino Real Estate Brand, Joe La Rosa formed Casa Latino Global Development, an entity designed to help develop the Central Florida area and bring into focus the South Florida, Tampa and Puerto Rico markets.

In the past, recessions have been the birthplace of many successful businesses and our current economic recession is no different. Within six months of establishing the new Casa Latino Global Development brand, they opened four new real estate offices and are successfully conducting business. No other real estate brand has ever grown quite like Casa Latino. They are currently on track to surpass their projection of over 150 new offices by 2010. Their growth is attributed to not only attempting to close the "cultural gap" that has been realized by so many in the real estate industry but is also due, in part, to the way the company operates. For example, the brand provides state-of-the-art technology and support for each new office. They create websites, landing pages, technical support, marketing materials, operations support and much more giving this new real estate brand an edge over the competition. An additional welcomed detail to the new franchisee is the low fees required to do business as a Casa Latino Real Estate office. They are less than most brands because of the unique business model that was established in the beginning. There's also a real sense of the overwhelming social responsibility that resonates through each member of the Casa Latino team. They're dedicated to creating more than just a business; they're creating community partners. "We're a company that cares and desires for each office owner to give back to their community - this is key to everyone's success, the Franchisee, the Franchise and the community", says Joe La Rosa, President Casa Latino Global Development.

Casa Latino has grown quickly, catching the eye of many, most recently the President of the Puerto Rico Senate, Thomas Rivera Schatz. After learning of the Casa Latino Brand and participating in one of the Central Florida office opening events, Mr. Schatz invited the Casa Latino executives to speak to the members of the Senate regarding their company and their expansion into the Puerto Rican market.

If the current coast to coast excitement and positive growth surrounding the Casa Latino brand is any indication of its future success, they will undoubtedly have a solid year of growth in 2009. From their domestic development goals to the future expansion plans into Peru, Costa Rica, Panama and Columbia, the sky is the limit and they are shooting for the stars.

"Danbury, CT – Casa Latino Franchise Corporation today announced the addition of Mercy Lugo-Struthers, former Director of US Hispanic Marketing for AOL Latino and DirectTV Más, and real estate investor, to their rapidly expanding Casa Latino family. With this announcement Casa Latino Real Estate enters the coveted US Capitol Metro area backed by a professional that clearly understands what it takes to effectively reach and service the US Hispanic market.

Ms. Lugo-Struthers, resident of the state of Virginia, has consistently combined her marketing talent and her passion to improve the lives of Latinos in America. During her nearly two decades of corporate marketing experience, she devoted her time and talent to empower Latinos to achieve their American dreams in a variety of ways. Whether it was developing programs to educate Latino’s about the importance of computers and the Internet in the Latino household, or advancing their TV viewing habits to include rich cultural and educational programming. More recently, inspired by the foreclosure crisis of Latinos in Prince William County, she designed a program to educate them about how to get back into responsible homeownership.

Robb Heering, Casa Latino Franchise Corporation Founder and CEO stated that, “We have been speaking with Mercy for several months regarding her career move from corporate marketing to residential real estate, an area she’s been immersed in during the past two years. Her passion and commitment to serving her community combined with her knowledge of the real estate business made her a perfect fit for our brand.”

“We have awarded a multi-unit area development contract to Mercy. Her team will expand the Casa Latino Real Estate brand throughout Northern Virginia, Washington DC and portions of Maryland. The first Metro DC office will open in Virginia this winter with others to follow throughout the region.”

Bill Arce, Vice President of New Business Development for Casa Latino added “Mercy Lugo-Struthers will help to level the playing field in a market where many consumers, not just Latino’s, have been hard hit by the current market. Years of abuse of consumers by unscrupulous mortgage and real estate practitioners have caused tremendous damage to this market. We expect Mercy to raise the bar and change all of that by delivering the sincere, honest, and ethical counsel, education, home buying and home selling services that the Casa Latino brand represents. We are very proud and humbled to welcome Mercy to the Casa Latino familia”.

About Casa Latino

Casa Latino was founded in 2005 in Connecticut by Lawyer and Real Estate Broker, Roberto “Robb” Heering. It is the fastest growing Latino real estate brand and the only Latino-focused agency with a national footprint. While other real estate franchise companies have stalled or downsized in the midst of the current financial crisis, Casa Latino has more than doubled its franchised offices from 20 to over 44 in 2008. Casa Latino offers franchisees unprecedented culturally specific and significant back office support, training, marketing tools, advertising, coaching, and much more to ensure their success. The franchise royalty model encourages a variety of agent compensation programs which dramatically enhances a broker’s ability to recruit agents. The low franchise fee and an exceptionally low transaction based royalty structure make Casa Latino an extremely attractive opportunity. The company will continue aggressive system expansion during 2009 throughout key US and international markets.
