The scheduled appearance next week of an anti-illegal immigration activist at a student-sponsored forum on the University of Nevada, Reno campus is causing outrage among some faculty, students and members of the community.

The University of Nevada, Reno Latino Research Center and the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada are hosting a lecture about how the growth of the Hispanic population will affect the nation. – The lecture by Juan Andrade Jr. is at 6 p.m. Oct. 5 in the William Raggio Building, Room 2030.
