MASCOTTE — Voters in this south Lake County city this week reversed a historical decision made two years ago when they elected Central Florida’s first Latino mayor. – The tables turned for Feliciano “Felix” Ramirez and Jeffrey Krull, whom Ramirez easily defeated in his landmark 2007 election with 68 percent of the vote. This time, Krull squeezed by with 12 more votes to defeat Ramirez, who had strong ties with Mascotte’s increasing Latino population.
