"LATV, the nation's first bicultural and bilingual entertainment/music network distributed via digital multicast, announced today that it had signed on its fourth Tribune affiliate, KTXL-FOX40, covering Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto, California. The station is in the 11th-largest Hispanic market and is ranked as the 20th largest Designated Market Area (DMA). KTXL-FOX40 began broadcasting LATV on Friday, December 5 on digital channel 40.2. This is LATV's 35th digital multicast affiliation across the U.S.

"Sacramento is a pivotal affiliate for us as we round out our presence in California. Now with the addition of the 11th-largest Hispanic market in our fold, we cover the state," said Howard Bolter, president and COO, LATV. "In just over a year-and-a-half, LATV has extended its national footprint with the top broadcast stations in nearly every key DMA. With only two months to go before the FCC-mandated digital conversion, we are well-positioned for the future."

In April 2008, LATV struck a distribution partnership with three Tribune stations: New York (WPIX), Chicago (WGN) and Dallas (KDAF). New York is the number-one DMA and the number-two Hispanic market. Chicago is the number-three DMA and the number-five Hispanic market. Dallas is the number-six DMA as well as the number-six Hispanic market. Now with KTXL-FOX40 as its newest affiliate, LATV will reach a total of over 40 million households in the United States and Puerto Rico. Added Mr. Bolter, "We are looking forward to working with KTXL-FOX40 in reaching the state capital's bicultural audience in the most populous state in the nation."

"FOX40 is looking forward to expanding our on-air brand with LATV to a new generation of bilingual viewers and serving Northern California's large and growing bicultural audience," said Bob Ramsey, VP/GM, KTXL-FOX40, Sacramento.

LATV currently has 35 affiliation agreements across the country in 20 of the top 25 Hispanic television markets. LATV is also carried on basic cable through its affiliates and in Los Angeles via cable, broadcast and DBS. With the KTXL-FOX40 affiliation, LATV is now in 10 of the leading 11 Hispanic television markets and eight of the top 10 DMAs.

About LATV:

Headquartered in Los Angeles, LATV is the nation's first bilingual/bicultural entertainment and music network distributed via digital multicast. A pioneer in bicultural youth broadcasting, LATV has been in the Los Angeles market since 2001 and launched nationally on April 23, 2007. Post-Newsweek Stations, Inc. is an investor in the national network and has a minority ownership interest in the Company as well as a seat on its Board of Directors. Targeting the 18- to 34-year-old Latino, LATV's programming bouquet offers a range of content that includes multi-genre music, lifestyle and entertainment. The network is ad-supported and offers an array of programming that is original and exclusive. The company also owns LatiNation, LLC which nationally syndicates the programs American Latino TV and LatiNation. For more information, visit LATV online at www.latv.com."

"The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 29th Annual National Convention and Business Expo, which is being hosted in Sacramento, honored today Latina business owners, and gave business leaders from across the United States great insight into potential for growth. USHCC leaders David Lizarraga and Augustine Martinez were joined by Lt. Governor John Garamendi and Deputy Administrator of the Small Business Administration Jovita Carranza to discuss the importance of Hispanic-owned businesses, and the various government-related procurement opportunities available to them. "Hispanic-owned businesses are a very important part of our economy. We are growing and succeeding, and our influence in business and industry sectors is stronger than ever," said Lizarraga. Of the 23 million businesses in the United States, 7%, or 2.5 million, are Hispanic, the largest percentage of any minority group. Of those, 700,000 are in California alone. Revenues for Hispanic-owned businesses in California are at $228 billion per year and almost $400 billion nationally. The Procurement Breakfast held this morning underlined the importance of generating opportunities for Hispanic businesses. The U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Convention's goal is to bring business owners and leaders together to match Hispanic-owned businesses with companies or agencies -- state, national, or private -- that have procurement opportunities. In California, 25% of state contracts for products or services must be destined to small-businesses. A large percentage of small businesses are Hispanic. In addition, State Senator and Majority Senate Leader Gloria Romero joined USHCC Vice-Chair Elizabeth Gallagher and financial expert Julie Stav to honor Latina business leaders at a special Luncheon. "Latina-owned businesses continue to lead and make a positive impact in each one of our communities," said Elisa Garcia of Office Depot. Ms. Yrma Rico, President of Rico & Rico, received the Ultimate Latina Award for her outstanding service to the Hispanic business world. Rico overcame adversity to become one of the most successful Latina-business women in California. She is a former migrant worker, who started her television career in Fresno. She went on to become an equity holder at Entravision Corporation. "Ms. Rico truly exemplifies what hard-work and ambition can do to accomplish the American Dream. Her story is truly amazing, and other women can relate to her, and be inspired to succeed," said Jeff Byers, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, BMW of North America. The USHCC National Convention and Business Expo is one of the largest gatherings of Hispanic business leaders and owners from throughout the country, and it's expected to bring thousands of people to the Capital, with revenues of $2.5 million for the city. The USHCC 29th Annual National Convention is being held at the Sacramento Convention Center from September 24-27, 2008, and brings with it workshops on telecommunications, technology, and environmentally friendly business practices, as well as procurement and networking opportunities. About the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Founded in 1979, the USHCC actively promotes the economic growth and development of Hispanic entrepreneurs and represents the interests of more than 2.5 million Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States that generate almost $400 billion annually. It also serves as the umbrella organization for 200 local Hispanic chambers in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, Bolivia and Uruguay.
