WGBH-Boston, producer of award-winning children’s television for PBS including Arthur, Curious George, Fetch with Ruff Ruffman, and Martha Speaks, has partnered with the research company Veridian inSight (VI) to conduct a focus group study about an animated TV show that may someday be broadcast on PBS. WGBH wants to find out if kids like the TV show and its characters.

VI is looking for kids aged 6 – 9 years old to participate in a 90-minute focus group. In each focus group, we will show kids part of the new TV show and get their reactions to it.

Some details:

* The groups will take place on Tuesday, October 6 in Boston, MA, Thursday October 8 in Phoenix, AZ, and Tuesday, October 13 in Nashville, TN.
* The groups will occur after school during the late afternoon / very early evening.
* We’re conducting 6 focus groups in total, with 6-8 kids in each one.
* Each child will receive a $20 gift card to a local bookstore for their participation.
* Each focus group will last no longer than 90 minutes.
* A trained researcher from Veridian inSight will lead the groups.
* Parents will be responsible for bringing their child to and from the focus groups.

If your child is interested in participating please e-mail Rae Ann at rcatino@veridianinsight.com or call her at 978.405.3108.

Thank you for your help!

The White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans was created by Executive Order on September 24, 1990 to improve Federal efforts to promote quality education for Hispanic Americans.
