PR: NPR MUSIC’S ‘ALT.LATINO’ WELCOMES ACTOR GAEL GARCIA BERNAL AS GUEST DJ

NPR Music’s Alt.Latino features a special guest DJ this week, internationally-acclaimed Mexican actor Gael García Bernal. Bernal plays some of his favorite songs and also gives an exclusive interview to hosts Jasmine Garsd and Felix Contreras, offering details about his films’ soundtracks, the music he grew up listening to and his current favorites. With roles in Oscar-nominated films Y tu mamá también and Motorcycle Diaries, and starring in an upcoming comedy with Will Ferrell called La Casa De Mi Padre, Bernal’s work has made him one of the most recognizable and well respected Latin movie stars on the scene today. His musical tastes may be as diverse as his roles as he tells Garsd and Contreras during the chat, “I’m quite promiscuous with music. I listen to almost everything.”
