MIAMI, FL. – JANUARY 26, 2012 – Univision Network today announced the schedule for the national open auditions of the highly anticipated second season of its popular reality competition “Pequeños Gigantes” (Little Giants). The show will conduct a nationwide star search for the country’s most talented children, kicking off at 8 a.m. Jan. 28, 2012 in Chicago.
The auditions tour will visit four major U.S. cities looking for gifted young contestants between 4 and 12 years of age. Mexican singer Jimena Gallego will be in attendance at all the locations to provide support to the hundreds of hopefuls expected to show off their stage presence for a chance to appear on the upcoming season. The castings will invite charismatic singers, actors, dancers and comedians to try out for an opportunity to participate in the “Pequeños Gigantes Call Back Show” which will be taped at Televisa in Mexico City.
Twenty eight lucky children will make up the seven teams who will face off every week to take on tough challenges that will test their perseverance to see if they have the star appeal and “wow factor” to be the next set of “Pequeños Gigantes.”
Leading up to the show’s premiere, catch all the behind-the-scenes excitement with the casting special, “Camino a Pequeños Gigantes” (Road to Little Giants), airing Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central). Witness all the tears, laughter and the pint-size fun of the multi-city auditions tour.

MIAMI, FL – 26 DE ENERO, 2012 – La Cadena Univision anunció hoy el itinerario de la gira de audiciones abiertas para la muy esperada segunda temporada de su concurso de talento/reality show, “Pequeños Gigantes”. El programa emprenderá una búsqueda nacional de los niños más talentosos del país, que se iniciará el 28 de enero de 2012, a las 8 a.m., en Chicago.
La gira de audiciones visitará cuatro importantes ciudades de Estados Unidos en busca de talentosos concursantes que tengan entre 4 y 12 años de edad. La cantante mexicana Jimena Gallego estará presente en todas las localidades para brindar apoyo a los cientos de aspirantes que se espera llegarán dispuestos a demostrar su dominio del escenario con el fin de poder competir en la próxima temporada. Los castings invitarán a pequeños cantantes, actores, bailarines y comediantes con mucho carisma para darles la oportunidad de participar en un show de finalistas de “Pequeños Gigantes”, que será grabado en la Ciudad de México.
Veintiocho chicos afortunados conformarán los siete equipos que se enfrentarán cada semana para realizar difíciles pruebas que medirán su perseverancia y demostrarán si tienen madera de estrellas y el “factor wow” necesario para convertirse en los próximos “Pequeños Gigantes”.
Antes del estreno de la nueva temporada del programa, no se pierda toda la emoción generada tras bambalinas durante las audiciones, en el especial “Camino a Pequeños Gigantes”, que saldrá al aire el domingo, 20 de mayo del 2012 a las 7 p.m. Este /Pacífico (6 p.m. Centro).
