Posted on: December 7th, 2011Lanza Group, LLC announces Centennial Olympic Park as theofficial home of Fiesta Atlanta through 2015. Fiesta Atlanta celebrates Cinco de Mayo with adaylong music and culture festival in the heart of Atlanta on Sunday, May 6th 2012.
“Fiesta Atlanta is now in its 6th year, and each year draws more diverse crowds to CentennialOlympic Park,” said Mark Banta, General Manager of Centennial Olympic Park. “We are excitedto continue our relationship with this great event, to bring Atlanta’s multicultural population to ourpark through 2015.”

Now in its 6th year, Fiesta Atlanta will add new elements for 2012 including an expanded youthsoccer tournament and children’s activities, more local artisans and opportunities for the festivalattendees to participate in contests. Fiesta Atlanta will hold a 5k run/walk for the second year in arow, to encourage healthy lifestyles and enjoying fitness with the whole family. Fiesta Atlantabrings a variety of artists and performers, covering a range of Latin music.
Fiesta Atlanta, is the Southeast’s largest Cinco de Mayo celebration, it is a free, daylong festivalthat includes live Latin music on two stages, featuring national and local recording artists. Thechildren’s stage lineup includes lively, colorful acts including Mexican folkloric dancers, clowns,musicians and storytellers. Artists will be selling handmade traditional crafts while vendors will beselling delicious Latin foods. The festival’s partners will provide product samples and many, funand interactive displays.
