    It’s hard not to be sympathetic to this UT graduate. She’d make a great U.S. citizen. Unfortunately, the legislators who wrote the DREAM act over-reached and wrote a bill that would provide legal status to millions who claim, without need of documentation, that they were brought here as children and provide only their intent to attend college for two years. After they fill out this paperwork, they’re untouchable and gain a de facto amnesty. Let’s rewrite the DREAM act so it applies to undocumented graduates like this but excludes the loopholes in the current bill. It will pass right away.
