LUZ RIOS GRABA VIDEO DE “I LOVE YOU BOY”
Los Ángeles, CA (29 de septiembre de 2011)- La cantautora Luz Rios grabó esta semana el muy anticipado video de su reciente sencillo “I LOVE YOU BOY”.
“I LOVE YOU BOY”, es el primer sencillo de su próximo álbum. El tema ya ha causado gran revuelo en la industria musical no solo porque el ritmo marca un punto diferente de partida para la artista mexicana, sino porque también con este tema, Luz ha creado un nuevo sonido que es decisivamente suyo. “I Love You Boy” muestra la poderosa y dulce voz por la cual se le conoce a Luz.
Manteniendose fiel a la sensación californiana que brinda la canción, Luz filmó el video en el famoso restaurante Frisco’s Carhop de Long Beach. El restaurante del sur de California ha aparecido en muchas revistas de automóviles, comerciales, videos musicales y programas de televisión como The Osbournes y Hell’s Kitchen.
Conocido por su ambiente de cafetería de época de los ‘50s, Frisco’s estableció el tono para el sonido único de la canción bilingüe “I Love You Boy”. Piense en las películas favoritas de todo los tiempos como Grease y Footloose, con los coches de antes hechos a la medida, la decoración de cafetería y meseras en patines.
El video de “I Love You Boy” fue dirigido por el cinematógrafo Gerson Segura. Manteniéndose fiel a la letra de la canción y atrapado en la era clásica del glamur de Hollywood, nada menos que el Chef de Frisco’s fue elegido para interpretar el interés amoroso de Luz.
Las grabaciones comenzaron a las 6pm justo antes de la puesta del sol para proveer una elevada sensación de los días californianos.
Luz Rios ha dejado una marca indeleble en el mundo de la música conquistando los géneros de Mariachi y Pop Latino. Los Angeles, CA (September 29th, 2011)- Singing powerhouse Luz Rios shot this week the highly anticipated video for her new single, “I LOVE YOU BOY”.
“I LOVE YOU BOY”, the first single off her next album, has already caused a major stir in the music industry not only because the rhythm is a departure for the Mexican artist but also because with it, she has created a new sound that is decisively hers. “I Love You Boy” showcases the powerful and smooth vocals for which Luz is known.
Staying true to the California feel of the song, Luz filmed the video at the famed Frisco’s Carhop Restaurant in Long Beach. The SoCal restaurant has been featured in many car magazines, commercials, music videos and TV shows such as The Osbournes and Hell’s Kitchen.
Known for its 1950s vintage Hollywood diner atmosphere, Frisco’s ambiance set the tone for the unique sound of the bilingual song “I Love You Boy”. Think of the all-time movie favorites like, Grease and Footloose, with the old school custom cars, diner décor and waitresses on roller skates.
The video for “I Love You Boy” was directed by the cinematographer Gerson Segura. Staying true to the lyrics of the song and entrapped in the era of vintage Hollywood glamour, none other than the Chef of Frisco’s was cast as Luz’ love interest.
Filming began at 6pm just before the sunset to provide for a heightened California day dreaming vibe.
