Esteban Creste joins FOX Deportes as Executive News Producer

Los Angeles, CA – July 28, 2011 – Esteban Creste, experienced news executive that has worked in the top three major U.S. TV markets, has joined FOX Deportes, the leader in Latino sports media, as Executive News Producer. Creste joins the network to lead the Mexico bureau of FOX Deportes.  Creste will be in charge of editorial content and production of the network’s two daily on-air shows, “Crónica” and “Sin Códigos” and will focus on original news content and the expansion of the network’s coverage on FOXDeportes.com.

With 23 years of experience in news media, Creste comes to FOX Deportes from Telemundo in Los Angeles and Chicago where he served as Vice President, News for both affiliates.  Creste was also the Managing Editor for the Telemundo station in New York City, where he started as a reporter in 1992. Creste began his career at El Diario la Prensa, the number one Hispanic newspaper in New York City and rose from street beat reporter covering The Bronx to news executive in the #1 Spanish-language television market in the U.S.
