VOCES the Latino Heritage Network of The New York Times, invites you to a conversation with Claudio Iván Remeseira, the editor of “Hispanic New York: A Sourcebook,” the first comprehensive anthology on the Latino, Latin American and Iberian cultural heritage of NYC. Claudio is director of the Hispanic New York Project at Columbia University’s Center for American Studies.

Moderated by New York Times reporter, Sam Roberts.

Panelists:

· Paul Berman: Distinguished Writer in Residence at NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute and the author, most recently, of “The Flight of the Intellectuals.”

· Frances Negrón-Muntaner: award-winning filmmaker, writer, and scholar, and director of Columbia University’s Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race.

· Virginia Sánchez Korrol: Puerto Rican and Latino Studies Professor Emerita at Brooklyn College.

Claudio Remeseira‘s book will be available for purchase and for signings.
