As more than 15 million Americans are unemployed and 4.5 million families are still at risk of losing their homes to foreclosure, Shaun Donovan, U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, is scheduled to present at an economy town hall at the 2010 NCLR Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas. This signature town hall will provide a unique opportunity to directly engage with national figures, including Mayor Julián Castro of San Antonio, and learn about efforts to tackle unemployment, the housing crisis, and the credit crunch. NCLR (National Council of La Raza) is the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States.

The town hall, which will be held Monday, July 12 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, is free and open to the public.
