Natalia Lafourcade to perform at Pasadena’s free event “Mexican Revolution” celebrating Mexico’s Bicentennial

Make Music Pasadena, California’s largest free music festival is proud to announce their participation in the Mexican Bicentennial Celebration in Los Angeles. The free, all ages, outdoor music celebration takes place Saturday, June 19th from 11 am until 11 pm in Downtown Pasadena.  Make Music Pasadena is the only free public musical event of the Mexican Bicentennial Celebration. To pay tribute to Mexico one of the main stages is titled “Mexican Revolution” and will feature the hottest Latin Grammy award winning and emerging artists. The stage kicks-off with the performance of folk-rock band Salt Petal, followed by up-and-coming Tijuana based Mexican electro band Faro.  Popular Los Angeles-based indie-bilingual band, Monte Negro will energize the crowd with their catchy rock tunes. Closing the show will be four-time Latin Grammy nominee Natalia LaFourcade a Mexican pop rock sensation whose latest release Hu Hu Hu was also nominated for a Grammy.

Make Music Pasadena will include more than 35 concerts throughout the city showcasing Grammy -award nominees, platinum-recording artists, along with homegrown and emerging artist offering something for everybody.

This free all-day, all-ages music festival will feature an adventurous mix of over 500 professional and amateur musicians performing in more than 30 impromptu public spaces throughout Pasadena. All genres, appealing to all age groups will be represented at this popular festival of sound.  Make Music Pasadena now in it’s third year, was created to celebrate the spirit of music and provide top quality programming for people of all ages and backgrounds providing accessibility to all.
