Tagged: Anheuser-Busch, Hispanic Scholarship Fund, soccer, world cupAfter visiting 16 major California cities and searching for the best amateur soccer talent, Major League Soccer recently concluded the Budweiser Cup at the Home Depot Center and helped fulfill the dream of a local Los Angeles team that won a once-in-a-lifetime trip to represent the United States against teams from around the world in a FIFA World Cup(TM) stadium in Pretoria, South Africa. In addition, as part of Budweiser’s longtime support of the Hispanic community, Anheuser-Busch and local wholesalers partnered to donate $64,000 to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Budweiser is an official sponsor of Major League Soccer and has been a FIFA World Cup(TM) partner since 1986. The 2010 FIFA World Cup(TM) is Budweiser’s seventh consecutive tournament as a sponsor.
