NiLP: An Urgent Appeal from Angelo Falcón!

A KIND GIFT from ... (see your sponsorship here) supports all this service does.

I am again writing to ask you to consider making a donation to the National Institute for Latino Policy (NiLP) if you had not done so recently. As you know, I have been making a few appeals for contributions the last few months, but the amount donated so far, unfortunately, has been well below our expectations.

We are only able to maintain The NiLP Network and other Institute projects largely through the direct support we get directly from our community through individual donations. While a small number of our members have generously come through for us in this way, the vast majority, sadly, have not.

In the Latino community we are always talking about the community itself supporting our own institutions and how rare and difficult this has been. Many tell me how valuable and thought-provoking they find the information we provide on Latino policy issues, as well as laud the other work of NiLP.

But without your support today, it is becoming increasingly difficult for us to do this work.

So, if you haven’t done so recently, please consider making a donation to NiLP today.

There are two ways to make a donation to NiLP.

One way is online, which is totally safe and secure. You can do so by clicking here. Besides making a one-shot contribution, you can join other NiLP supporters who have arranged to make more painless monthly contributions through their credit cards of, for example, $25 a month, which totals $300 a year.

The other way is to send us a check or money order for $50, $100, $1,000, or whatever you can afford, made out to the “National Institute for Latino Policy” and mail it to:

National Institute for Latino Policy
101 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 313
New York, NY 10013
Attn: Angelo Falcón

You could also leverage your contribution if your employer has a matching gift program. One person made a $1,000 donation, which she turned into a $4,000 contribution through her employer’s matching gifts program. Check with your company’s human resources department about this option.

We have a lot on our plate as a community this year. With your help, NiLP can make a significant contribution to empowering the Latino community to make some progress on the many challenges before us.

We’re counting you. For real!
Un abrazo,

Angelo Falcón
President
National Institute for Latino Policy (NiLP)
