Gabriela Hill

This player hosted NBC’s Poker After Dark series and is considered the ambassador and most recognizable poker personality in Latin America. She was the Spanish-language voice of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) on ESPN Latin America from July 2004 through March 2009.

Angel Guillen

One of the most well-known Hispanic poker-faces, Angel Guillen entered the poker scene by becoming the second Mexican National in history to win a gold bracelet in 2009 World Series of Poker. With winnings of over $840,000, Guillen continues to impress poker aficionados worldwide.

Juan Carlos Mortensen; AKA “El Matador

This Ecuadorian professional poker player is notorious for his strategic bluffing tactics and chip-staking style. As the only Hispanic Main Event winner of the World Series of Poker,” El Matador” has won over $9,600,000 throughout his career.

Jose Ignacio Barbero; AKA “Nacho”

As one of Argentina’s finest players, Barbero has succeeded in various tournaments worldwide.  His experience in poker tables in Paris and Barcelona led him to a total of six World Series cashes. This talented player is also well-known for being the second Latin American player to win a LAPT title.
