Tagged: New York, New York City, partyCulture blog MEX and the CITY and Qué Bajo?! bring an epic Cinco de Mayo fiesta to Santos Party House. Cinco de Gallo is what happens when the rooster of Qué Bajo?! gets down with MexntheCity on the dancefloor.
The intent is to highlight contemporary Mexican culture in New York by creating the most authentic Mexican experience in the city. We’re creating a complete dance experience with international DJs Uproot Andy & Geko Jones and three live bands ranging in genres from Norteño, Cumbia to Latin Ska. Furthering the energy of this hyper Mexican fiesta, El Rey del Sabor taco truck will be parked in front of Santos for partygoers to feast and survive the night!
The theme is Hyper Mexican: think fluorescent colors, Tron meets Mariachi, spaceship Cumbia. Mexican! But flipping the idea of what that can mean. We say: “Let’s grab a drink, let’s dance, go on a taco journey, we can drop salsa and trip out to Cumbia with glow-sticks.”
