SVREP plans to continue the momentum with its ambitious voter registration, voter education and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) campaigns for the 2010 election season, starting with this voter registration effort we just completed. SVREP will continue to raise the monies necessary to increase the number of Latinos taking part in the 2010 Texas elections. Our goal is to increase the number of Latino voters who are registered to vote and turnout to vote in the primary, general and special election anticipated for this May.
SVREP is the nations largest and oldest organization of its kind; nonpartisan, nonprofit, organization committed to increasing the Latino electorate in America’s democracy.Since it opened its doors, SVREP has registered over 2.5 million Latinos across the southwest and the southeast.
