The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis hosts an insurance education program led by Prudential Insurance Co.
“The Prudential Special Needs Solutions…For All Ages” seminar will be conducted by Prudential Insurance experts at 4:30 p.m., and again at 7 p.m. Feb. 11, at the Hispanic Chamber’s Technology and Resource Center, 3611 S. Grand Blvd., St. Louis. The seminar is free for chamber members, $10 for nonmembers.
The program provides essential information, tools and resources to assist families in the selection of insurance and investment products tailored to their needs. It will cover the importance of state and federal programs that provide support and/or assistance to people with disabilities; the role of a special needs trust and how to fund it; unique concerns about housing, education and employment; and the role of support groups and nonprofit associations.
