“The retreat was very beneficial,” said Fermin C. Miranda, President & Chairman of the Board. “We were able to get together as a new team, get to know each other better, go over the expectations for board members and go through a high level exercise of the opportunities and challenge our chamber membership face this coming year. This past year we celebrated 15 years of service in Sarasota and Manatee County. Our focus is to continue to grow while providing value to our membership and the community. Over 28 local charities are actively involved in our chamber and are represented on our board. This is a clear indication of our commitment to community and business.”
Cesar Gomez, Executive Director stated, “I am excited to work with the new board and participate in developing a long term strategy. I know it continues to be a challenging environment for businesses. The Gulf Coast Latin Chamber is positioned to help by providing services, value, and a level of diversity to our members that are unique to this Chamber.”
