GACLA and Department of Education to Hold Third Pennsylvania Summit on Educational Excellence for Latino Students

The Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs will host the third Pennsylvania Latino Education Summit on Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Lancaster Marriot, 1931 Hospitality Drive, Lancaster.
The summit will focus on improving the educational status of Latino students. Juan Sepulveda, Director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, will speak at 12:30 p.m. Education Secretary Gerald L. Zahorchak will address a plenary session at 3:30 p.m.
