“Contests benefiting community building are a thread of the fabric that makes America altruistic. CapitalWirePR is pleased to bring you a message about the Lider of the Year award and inviting you to cast a vote for one of the twelve nominees.

I am a finalist in the Lideres campaign, which honors leaders in the Hispanic community. As the National Communications Director of the League of United Latin American Citizens, a graduate of Georgetown University’s Executive Master’s in Leadership program and a recipient of the Young Hispanic Leaders Program in Madrid, Spain, I am very honored by this recognition.

I need your votes to become the Lider of the Year. Members of the public are invited to vote for the 12 finalists at www.MillerCoorsLideres.com through November 20, 2009. The winner will receive a $25,000 grant for a community leadership project with their nonprofit organization and .

I was selected as part of Líderes because of my passion and involvement in the Hispanic community. I have fought for health care and immigration reform, stronger hate crimes protection, improved education and the elimination of discrimination.

The League of United Latin American Citizens advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating at more than 700 councils nationwide.

I appreciate your attentiveness and urge you to please vote for me.

Thank you for your support.
