“ImpreMedia, the No. 1 Hispanic News and Information Company in the U.S. in Online and Print along with seven sponsors honors Hispanic Heritage Month for a second consecutive year.

The program entitled, “Mi Hispanidad,” utilizes digital, mobile and print to educate, inform and entertain impreMedia’s online and offline audience about their favorite destinations, food, music and traditions (www.impre.com/hispanidad/). The program runs through October 31, 2009.

The “Mi Hispanidad” campaign is supported by Hispanic marketers including AARP, Albertson’s, Discovery en Español, General Trading/Fine Fare, metroPCS, Mexicana Airlines, MillerCoors, and Pacific Gas & Electric. The campaign incorporates a Hispanic Heritage Month channel prominently displayed on impreMedia’s portal impre.com and all publication websites. It also includes award-winning editorial content, a People’s Choice Survey, online photos, co-branded ad units online as well as within all impreMedia’s newspapers (www.impre.com).

“Honoring Hispanic Heritage is paramount to impreMedia as a reflection of our core Hispanic roots and the deep commitment we have to this audience,” said Arturo Duran, CEO, impreMedia Digital. “Our Hispanic Heritage Month program is promoted via supplements and ads in impreMedia’s daily and weekly newspapers and via our mobile platform, all designed to drive traffic to the “Mi Hispanidad” web channel. This multi-platform effort really demonstrates the extensive assets we have at our disposal to impact the Hispanic audience – wherever they are and however they want to be reached.”

One of impreMedia’s key partners for this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration is MillerCoors. The MillerCoors Líderes program honors outstanding Hispanic individuals for their vision, commitment to service and ability to inspire their communities. “At MillerCoors, our commitment to the Hispanic community is about building and investing in the communities where we work and live,” said Joedis Avila, Multicultural Relations Manager, MillerCoors. “Through Líderes we honor that commitment by highlighting leaders within the Hispanic community and providing leadership tools for future generations.”

“We are proud to share this second annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration with all of our sponsors,” said Liz Sarachek Blacker, impreMedia’s Senior Vice President of Digital Sales. “This annual holiday highlights the beautiful myriad of Hispanic values and traditions and we look forward to building upon this platform in the years to come.”

Another key partner in impreMedia’s “Mi Hispanidad” celebration, Pacific Gas & Electric, is one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States, based in San Francisco. “PG&E is proud to be a part of impreMedia’s 2nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. During this time, we recognize our rich cultural diversity and the valuable contributions of our Latino communities. PG&E has proudly served these communities for more than 100 years. We are honored to build upon that tradition of service as part of this important occasion,” said Detrina Faletogo, president of the Hispanic Employees Association of PG&E.
