“The Institute for Child & Family Health (ICFH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Whilly Bermudez as a new board member. He is the founder and President of the Whilly Bermudez Company a strategic marketing and event management firm.

Bermudez’s talent and diverse expertise includes experience leading successful fundraisers and events for the ’s Home Society, St. Jude’s Hospitals, and the American Cancer Society, to name a few. Moreover, he is a leader in the business community and is passionate about improving the community his lives in.

“His reputation, as a marketer and event host is second to none,” said Steve Makar, President of the ICFH Board of Directors. “With his proven aptitude to execute, Bermudez is a valuable addition to our team; helping us to broaden our funding base that we’ll need to meet our long-term growth objectives.”

In 2008, Bermudez was elected into the Republican Executive Committee and has received endorsements from organizations including the Miami Herald during an impressive run for a seat on the Miami Dade County Commission.

“He values civic responsibility, community involvement, and welcomes the opportunity to participate in community activities,” said Robert Nolan, Ph.D., Executive Director of ICFH. “We welcome his involvement in issues and interest vital to the community.”
