Fernando Del Rincón to Be Recognized At The 4th Annual Latin Pride Awards

Spanish Broadcasting System (NASDAQ:SBSA) (“SBS”) announced today that Fernando del Rincón, host of “Paparazzi TV Sensacional” and “Paparazzi Radio Sensacional,” will be recognized for his hard work, dedication and 25 years of contributions to Spanish journalism and the Latin culture. Del Rincón will receive an award honoring his service at the 4th annual Latin Pride National Awards on September 24 at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston.

A significant number of international stars will gather in Massachusetts for the Latin Pride National awards to celebrate Rincón and other distinguished Hispanic leaders. Rincón will be joined by the Dominican Republic’s first lady Dr. Margarita Cedeño de Fernández, and others including Jerry Rivera, Cesar Evora, Juan Osorio, Laura Posada, Chichi Peralta, Fabian Rios, Arlenis Sosa, Walter Tailover, Hector Acosta “El Torito”, Obie Bermudez, Beatriz Perez, Frankie Negron, Wason Brazoban, Diana Reyes, Tony Melendez, Issa Gadala, Juan Rios, Marcos Diaz, Gelena Solano, Sr. Juan Ramon Gomez Diaz, Willie Estrada, Aisha, Julio C. Arrieta, and Tom E. Morello.

With 25 years of experience in the journalism field, Fernando del Rincón, has hosted and produced important pieces on international personalities, ranging from entertainment to political figures like Juan Gabriel, Nobel Prize winner Rigoberta Menchu, writer Carlos Fuentes, Mexico’s President Vicente Fox, and First Lady Marta Sahagun. He has covered international events like Pope John Paul II’s visit to Mexico and his funeral from the Vatican, the war in Iraq, the events of September 11, among others. In 2004, Fernando was a special guest of New York Governor George Pataki and keynote speaker for the “Dia de la Hispanidad” kick off celebration and led the “Dia de la Hispanidad” parade as Grand Marshall.

Del Rincón is currently the host of “Paparazzi TV Sensacional,” which airs from Monday-Friday on Mega TV at 7:00 P.M. (ET), 8:00 P.M. (PT) and “Paparazzi Radio Sensacional,” which airs Monday-Friday on WRMA- 106.7 Romance, from 6:00 to 10:00 A.M.
