LatPro’s Hispanic & Bilingual Career Fair Comes to Washington, DC

Diversity job board LatPro (www.LatPro.com), in conjunction with The National Society for Hispanic Professionals (www.NSHP.org), will once again bring its job fair series to Washington, DC, connecting multicultural jobseekers with companies seeking bilingual and bicultural professional candidates.

“The Spring 2009 Washington, DC job fair was a largely successful event,” said Ricardo Villalba, Events Manager for NSHP. “More than 20 individuals were hired on the spot at our DC fair in May, and we hope to have similar successes again in September.”

Response from employers and jobseekers has been so positive that LatPro documented testimonials in a video filmed at the DC event designed to prepare future participants for the exciting day that they can expect at a LatPro/NSHP career fair.

Candidates attending the fair should come professionally dressed and bring at least 30 copies of their resume, as they will be meeting with representatives from prestigious employers including Booz Allen Hamilton, the Food and Drug Administration, Chevy Chase Bank, Smithsonian Institution, and Prince William County Public Schools.
