“The Families of Faith Foundation, a brand new organization created to honor the Priesthood, will hold its inaugural dinner Saturday evening, August 29th, at the Most Holy Trinity Church Parish Hall in Tucson, Arizona.

Iveliz Valle Ahumada, Founding Executive Director of FFF long envisioned establishing an organization that would honor, support and promote the humanitarian work of priests and nuns at home and abroad. “Our main mission is to lead individuals and families to holiness,” says Ms. Ahumada.

“We hope to inspire people to acknowledge the dedication, effort and sacrifice involved, as well as fully embrace and support their ministry. Another important part of our mission is the formation and spiritual mentoring of priests.”

The Families of Faith Foundation will operate under the auspices of the International Center for Higher Education and Philanthropy ICHEP, created and established by Dr. Martín Ahumada and Iveliz Ahumada in 1995. ICHEP is dedicated to improving education, promoting the culture and practice of secular philanthropy and Christian charity in different national settings.

“We sincerely believe it is a good fit, to include our Families of Faith Foundation within ICHEP,” adds Ms. Ahumada, who has been a foster family licensing specialist with Casa de los Niños and worked with Social Services/St. Nicholas of Myra Adoption Center in Tucson. “Having Families of Faith Foundation under ICHEP seems like a natural outgrowth of our advocacy in education and spiritual growth.”
