ClickSafety Launches OSHA 10-Hour Course in Spanish
Posted on: August 5th, 2009
ClickSafety, the leader in online safety training and risk management solutions, announces the release of a Spanish language version of their world-class OSHA 10-Hour training course. This addition to the ClickSafety online course library will be instrumental in helping organizations address the safety training needs of their Spanish-speaking employees.
According to a 2003 Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report, ”791 Hispanic workers were killed on the job, accounting for 14% of the 5,559 total deaths that occurred in the United States. The 791 deaths represented a fatality rate 13% higher than the rate for all workers.“ Employers are responsible for protecting all of their employees from workplace injuries and with the Hispanic labor force increasing, it is essential that companies provide all workers with effective awareness training to stay safe on the job.
ClickSafety, a recognized leader in online safety training, is committed to improving the safety of all on-site workers. Utilized by thousands of trainees world-wide, the OSHA 10-Hour Safety Course helps individuals improve their knowledge of safe and healthy work practices online and on demand. The OSHA 10-Hour Spanish version delivers the same level of training using the same convenient, web-based learning application. Both versions also supply the trainee with a Department of labor completion card upon conclusion of the course.
“ClickSafety is committed to providing the tools employers need in order to lower the risk of job-related injuries among their workforce. By offering OSHA 10-Hour in Spanish, we are able to help companies build a safer environment for Spanish-speaking employees efficiently and cost-effectively.” said Blaine Tomimoto, President of ClickSafety.
