The National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) issued the following statement in response to the announced search advertising partnership between Yahoo! and Microsoft Corporation from its National President, Clara Padilla Andrews. “With ad revenues and circulation figures in print media overall diminishing and Hispanic publications seeing the first ad downturn ever, online search advertising is becoming a cornerstone of modern publishing. We’re encouraged by the announced partnership between Microsoft and Yahoo!, which we hope will give minority-owned publishers better pricing and more innovative options for reaching our growing community of readers and advertisers.” About the NAHP The National Association of Hispanic Publications, Inc.
