“The New York Chapter of the and Monroe College proudly present the first NSHMBA College Night on June 25, 2009, starting at 6:45pm in Monroe College, , NY. This networking event is free and open to students and professionals of all levels.

New York, NY, June 17, 2009 – The New York Chapter of the and Monroe College invite you to the first NSHMBA College Night on June 25, 2009, starting at 6:45pm in Monroe College, , NY. This networking event is free and open to students and professionals of all levels.

Take advantage of this opportunity to meet with Board Members of the NY Chapter of the , as well as distinguished peers and faculty from Monroe College. The networking event will focus on successfully addressing the challenges of career development during an economic slowdown.

The keynote address will be delivered by Iveth Reynolds, President of the NY Chapter of NSHMBA and founder and CEO of Tri-Mar Consulting Inc, a national staffing, recruitment and outplacement firm. In addition, Board Members of the New York Chapter of the will be on hand to lend advice and share their own experiences.

The Director of Monroe College’s Center for Graduate Career Advancement and some of their Advisors will be present to help with resume revisions and mock interviews. Also, learn about opportunities Monroe College can provide to current MBA students and Alumni.

The (NSHMBA) was created in 1988 as a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. Widely known as the “Premier Hispanic Organization,” NSHMBA serves 32 chapters and 8,000 members in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. It exists to foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development. NSHMBA works to prepare Hispanics for leadership positions throughout the U.S., so that they can provide the cultural awareness and sensitivity vital in the management of the nation’s diverse workforce.”
