“Casio America Inc. continues its work with award-winning agency REVOLUCION to promote two of its leading Exilim digital cameras, the EX-S5 and EX-Z29, in the U.S. Hispanic market. As part of an ongoing initiative for the global electronics company, REVOLUCION created a national digital campaign featuring beloved Univision TV host Lili “La Flaca” Estefan. Best known as the co-host of the hit show El gordo y la flaca (The Fat Man and the Thin Woman), La Flaca was the perfect choice to represent Casio’s line of colorful, slim cameras.

“Based on the success of REVOLUCION’s holiday ’08 campaign, we are eager to see similar results in the Hispanic market over the next few weeks,” says Sue VanderSchans, Casio America’s director of strategic communications and marketing. “We are delighted to continue our association with Lili Estefan.”

Ms. Estefan was named one of People en Español magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in the June 2009 issue, making this month’s Casio endorsement particularly powerful. “Lili embodies style and fun,” said Roberto Alcazar, executive creative director for REVOLUCION, at the agency’s Miami photo shoot. “This makes her a perfect spokeswomen for these stylish and user-friendly cameras.”

Casio is reaching out to Spanish-preferring adults, nationwide, who are considering a digital camera purchase this month for Father’s Day and graduation celebrations. The Casio EX-S5’s 10.1 megapixel resolution maximizes image clarity. Other features include YouTube™ capture mode, which allows users to instantly record and upload videos, 3x optical zoom to minimize blurriness, and a wide 2.7 inch LCD screen. At only 0.7 inches wide, the EX- Z29 is a sleek and sturdy 10 mega pixel camera that shares many of the same features as the EX- Z29.
