“The Metropolitan State College of Denver Center for Innovation, in collaboration with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade’s Minority Business Office, will launch a monthly speaker series beginning this September, showcasing area experts and connecting them with local entrepreneurs. has agreed to be the exclusive banking sponsor for this series.

According to Mark J. Small businesses are the engine that will help fuel the economic recovery. We believe this is an excellent opportunity to work in cooperation with Metro State’s Center for Innovation and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade’s Minority Business Office to promote entrepreneurialism in Colorado.”

Running through April of 2010, subject matter experts in seven areas of business ownership will share their expertise with the business community. A portion of the proceeds will support the Center for Innovation Endowment Fund, which will help this educational start-up become self-sustaining in five years.
