The Metropolitan State College of Denver Center for Innovation, in collaboration with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade’s Minority Business Office, will launch a monthly speaker series beginning this September, showcasing area experts and connecting them with local entrepreneurs. Solera National Bank has agreed to be the exclusive banking sponsor for this series.
Solera National Bank is a traditional, community commercial bank with a core-competency in understanding and servicing the culturally diverse and dynamic Hispanic market. The bank is committed to providing outstanding quality service while striving to meet the financial needs of its community.
According to Mark J. Martinez, Regional President and Senior Lending Officer of Solera National Bank, “Solera National Bank is excited about the opportunity to join in this collaborative effort to support small businesses in our local market. Small businesses are the engine that will help fuel the economic recovery. Running through April of 2010, subject matter experts in seven areas of business ownership will share their expertise with the business community. A portion of the proceeds will support the Center for Innovation Endowment Fund, which will help this educational start-up become self-sustaining in five years.
