Reporte Hispano Selected as Official Translation Agency for State of New Jersey

The State of New Jersey has awarded Reporte Hispano Translations a multi-year contract to provide translation services to all State Departments and Offices.
Reporte Hispano Translations is a division of Reporte Hispano LLC, New Jersey’s Hispanic media and marketing company.
Under the state’s cooperative purchasing agreement, the contract also allows Reporte Hispano to offer its translation services at state negotiated rates to all of New Jersey’s County and State Colleges, Municipalities, Counties, School Districts, Volunteer Fire Departments, Volunteer First Aid and Rescue Squads, County and State Colleges, Independent Authorities, Quasi-State Agencies and Independent Institutions of Higher Education.
The term of the contract is for a period of three years with up to two, one-year extensions. Under the terms of the contract award, Reporte Hispano will provide translation services for all of the State’s departments and divisions needing English to Spanish translation services.
Reporte Hispano’s proposal for translation services was of the highest quality, the State’s evaluation committee reported. Reporte Hispano was also selected by the state because of its extensive experience in translation services at the state and local level and in the private sector.
For the past three years, Reporte Hispano has been the translation agency of record for the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and the Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief Fund. In the private sector, Reporte Hispano has done translation work for Verizon’s “Communications America” and “Link Up America” programs, which offer lower-income New Jersey residents discounted phone service. In the non-profit sector, Reporte Hispano translates for the Association for the Advancement of Mental Health. Other clients include Princeton Township Affordable Housing Department, The Borough of Princeton, Mercer County Community College and more.
This contract gives a Hispanic-owned, small business based in the state of New Jersey the opportunity to provide culturally relevant linguistic services the state so needs.
