“, Inc. today announced that it has begun production on the second season of its hit web series, , which premiered in 2008. Series Creator/Writer/Executive Producer (Resurrection Blvd., Drag Me to Hell, Los Campeones de la Lucha Libre), heads , and stars in this groundbreaking, not-so- politically-correct comedy that bridges reality and fantasy in the style of Ally McBeal and The Larry Sanders Show.

follows the title character as she attempts to climb up the journalistic ladder, all the while navigating around the unique circumstances of someone who is living a dual existence: being an American woman of Mexican descent, and working in the male-dominated, entertainment news industry. “The response to season one has been everything I dreamed it could be. People really related to my characters and that just motivated me to write on, “ said Livier. “Growing up between two cultures, and speaking two languages, you end up having a foot in two worlds but not completely belonging to either one. There’s this weird middle ground, full of identity crisis and struggles. is the story of being an American, but from a decidedly different point of view.”

Series Director/Executive Producer Joe Camareno (Pasiones Obsesionantes, Virgin Falls, Revenge of the Bimbot Zombie Killers) said, “ is about action, not complacency. It’s about discovering the power of your own voice, and realizing that in using it, there are repercussions, both positive and negative. I think this is a basic theme that people really responded to in season one, and we’re excited to explore it further in season two.”

We are also producing more episodes, with some really great twists and turns, “ said Stephanie Wiand, Writer/Executive Producer (Pasiones Obsesionantes, Virgin Falls, Revenge of the Bimbot Zombie Killers). “Although is a bilingual/bicultural comedy, it’s such an entertaining, universal story of trying to create your own American dream, that I think our audience will expand even further this season.”

In addition to a returning, all-star cast from season one, Marlene Forte (Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story, Star Trek 2009, ER), Alejandro de Hoyos (GB: 2525, Until Next Time, The Bold and the Beautiful), season two of will also add to its dynamic production roster, (Scrubs, Castle, Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story), Richard Yniguez (The Shield, CSI: Miami, Law & Order), Alma Delfina (Te Amare en Silencio, CSI: Miami, Resurrection Blvd.), Writer, Herbert Siguenza (Culture Clash), and Actress/Guest Director, Elizabeth Pena (Jacob’s Ladder, Resurrection Blvd., Home For The Holidays).
