“ HOPE’s 18th Annual Latina History Day Conference, presented by Farmers Insurance Group and , celebrates the accomplishments of Latinas to our local communities, our state and our nation. Our theme this year, Latina’s in the 21st Century: Defining Who We Are, will highlight Latina’s who command leading positions in government, education, Corporate America, the arts, and entertainment.

The conference features empowering workshops designed specifically for today’s Latina with topics on education advocacy, financial empowerment, and career advancement. Meet successful and inspirational Latina keynote speakers and see how they are making history today. Expect excellent networking opportunities and resources to develop your skills and advance your career.

Journalist Giselle Fernandez will kick off this empowering day at 8:30AM serving as keynote speaker of the morning program: “Changing the Face of History: Presenting the Future History Makers” where HOPE will honor Latina college students who are making a difference in their communities. During this time, City of Los Angeles will present a City Proclamation and Declaration of Latina History Day.
