The Dream That Moved to Miami – Newsweek Argentina Magazine

Founder and Publisher of the business magazine Hispanic Target, Eduardo Hapke, wrote a four-page article entitled “The Dream that moved to Miami” that was published in the Newsweek Argentina Magazine. The general production of the article was by Nancy Clara, editor of Target Style, and the photography was taken by Guillermo Caminos, Photographer of Hispanic Target Magazine.

“It was a very interesting article that was published in this magazine with international influences. Without a doubt the Argentineans that are established in Miami and in South Florida are generating a road of prominence outside the borders of their home country. The testimonies that are in the article are incredibly interesting and also paint the whole body of the reality of the immigrants living with an incredible cultural diversity like there is in Miami. It is a very interesting note that not only Argentineans need to read, but all the cases that are presented there are very rich in history told by every person that was interviewed,” commented Eduardo Hapke, editor of the article.

Nancy Clara, editor of Hispanic Target, was key in the production of this article; she was in charge of coordinating and interviewing the most prominent personalities. “It was a very grueling job that we realized, that just the pictures with the stars took 3 sessions that were coordinated in the Marly Productions studio located in Doral. There, and also with our excellent photographer Guillermo Caminos, who is the photographer for Hispanic Target Magazine, we took some incredible pictures. The stars that were interviewed were very sincere and the majority of them unleashed themselves completely, therefore, we were able to obtain some marvelous testimonies,” explained Nancy Clara, in charge of the production of the article and Editor of Hispanic Target Magazine.

Javier Ceriani, Candela Ferro, Leo Rocco, Laura Ferretti, Roxana Garcia y Claudio Gonzalez, including others, are the protagonists of this article, in which they speak of the struggles and hardship they lived through when they immigrated to this country. Many of them worked in different places, far from what they had dreamed of doing, but little by little they accomplished their objectives and that is what we tried to focus on in the article, to show that it is not easy to prevail in another country. Nonetheless, many Argentineans have acquired the road to excellence, with an abundance of sacrifice,” said journalist Eduardo Hapke.

There are an estimated 200,000 Argentineans in the state of Florida living in different cities, but focused specifically in South Florida. Miami has been a pool of attraction for the Argentineans who decided to leave their home country to search for better horizons.
