Openfilm.com Launches New Features Catering to Hispanic Filmmakers and Audiences

“Openfilm.com, the online destination for independent films, shorts and animation, announced today a variety of new tools and features that assist independent filmmakers showcase their work and help audiences discover and watch the best Web video in high-definition, for free. The highlights include a Spanish-language version of the site, viewing recommendations and film reviews, advice for filmmakers, a blog that discusses Latin cinema, entertainment and culture, as well as a database of more than a thousand film festivals worldwide.

Openfilm features hundreds of independent film shorts from around the world with Spanish sub-titles, as well as a growing number of films submitted by Latino artists. Other features include viewing recommendations and a video review section by a professional film critic to make it easier for audiences to find the content that best suits their interests.

The upgraded site also features enhancements to provide users with a better browsing and viewing experience.
