YAHOO! REVAMPS U.S. HISPANIC OFFERING AND STRENGTHENS REGIONAL NETWORK FOR ADVERTISERS – Launches New Advertiser Resource Site

Yahoo! today announced that it will revamp its U.S. Hispanic offering to better serve its users’ and clients’ needs, maximizing and leveraging the company’s scale, technology and platform throughout the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets. In addition to providing marketing opportunities on the U.S. Hispanic site, soon to be named Yahoo! en Español, Yahoo! will focus on providing advertisers with an all-encompassing solution that allows them to reach all Hispanics regardless of geographic location and language preference.
According to comScore Media Metrix, October 2008, Yahoo! is the #1 preferred portal among U.S. Hispanics, boasting 15 million users and a 75.2% reach. This bourgeoning group spends more time on the Yahoo! network than on any other site on the web.
As the leading destination for U.S. Hispanics, Yahoo! will continue to strengthen its core products, such as its front page, e-mail, search, and community experiences for Yahoo! en Español users.
