Friends and Valued Partners:This is to let you know that NAHREP is downsizing operations in an effort to control expenses in a market now offering limited financial sponsorship and sharply reduced income opportunities. For over a year, the real estate industry has been in the eye of the prevailing financial storm. It has thus become necessary to re-structure in order to pursue NAHREP’s mission of promoting sustainable homeownership for Hispanic families nationwide.
While NAHREP National staff will no longer be available at the Washington DC office effective close of business today, NAHREP will maintain its legislative and regulatory presence in Washington, DC. Our transition plan is designed to ensure the continuation of core services and an unwavering commitment to ensure our mission of increasing sustainable Hispanic homeownership. Event, project, membership and chapter support will be provided from our West Coast offices in San Diego, California. NAHREP’s National Board committees will also play a critical role in maintaining continuity of business.
