LATIN FACTORY 5: EVENING IN RED, A GALA FASHION SHOW TO BENEFIT LATINOS LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS

�The one-of-a-kind star-studded fashion show brings together on one runway the best of the best in television, film, radio, music and politics. The event will be held Thursday, November 13th at The Mayan Club in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

(Los Angeles, CA, November 4, 2008)  -  The fashion industry, music and film celebrities, politicians and Latino leaders unite their efforts to present Latin Factory 5: Evening in Red, a highly choreographed fashion show that raises much needed revenues for BIENESTAR’s programs benefiting Latinos living with /AIDS in Southern California and the agency’s emerging efforts in advocacy for LGBT social justice.

The star-studded event will be held Thursday, November 13, 2008 at one of LA’s premier clubs: The Mayan, located at 1038 S. Hill Street, Los Angeles CA 90015. The evening activities begin with a VIP reception at 7:00 PM, followed by Latin Factory 5: Evening in Red at 8:00 PM.  The traditional “after party” will take place in the same location at the conclusion of the fashion show.

The 2008 edition of Latin Factory follows four previous and very successful events, and will showcase exclusive collections from some of the most talented up-and-coming Latino designers, as well as renowned names of the high fashion world. Fashion designers participating in Latin Factory 5: Evening in Red include: Andrew Christian, Octavio Carlin, Tony Iniguez, Alexis “Bong” Monsanto, Java Jean Bar, Husam Salman, Stop Staring and, Timoteo among others.  All fashion models, disc jockeys, hair and makeup artistry, set design, and video production are being donated by a pool of industry professionals who believe in the work and mission of BIENESTAR.
