A long-running case of state torture and legal chicanery related to the Chihuahua City women’s killings could end up in the Organization of American States (OAS) soon. This week, the Mexico City-based Commission for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights (CMDPDH) announced it will take the case of David Meza Argueta to the OAS’s Inter-American Commission on Human Rights in Washington, D.C. during the December-January time period.
