Company Looks to NSH MBAs As Valuable Resource for High-Quality Talent
As part of its ongoing effort to recruit top talent and attract a diverse workforce, Diageo, the world’s leading spirits, beer and wine company, recruited for the fifth consecutive year at the National Society for Hispanic MBAs 2008 Conference and Career Expo that was held last week in Atlanta.
“The National Society for Hispanic MBAs Conference and Expo is a tremendous opportunity for us to connect with potential candidates and educate them about the exciting opportunities that exist for them at Diageo,” said Danielle Robinson, Director of Diversity, Talent and Organizational Design at Diageo. “It is incredibly important for us to do all we can to support the Conference and Expo and continue our relationship with the NSH MBAs and its members.”
At this year’s conference, Diageo had its largest presence yet, with more than 30 representatives from the company participating in on-site recruiting efforts.
In addition to the National Society of Hispanic MBAs Conference and Expo, Diageo will also have a presence at leading minority events throughout the year such as the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Conference in New York, NY, the National Women of Color Conference in Dallas, TX, and the Urban League Equal Opportunity Dinner in New York, NY. In addition, Diageo recently participated in the National Black MBA Association Conference, held in September in Washington, DC.
