The Long Awaited Thriller Megaseries ‘Gabriel’ Premieres this Week on Mega TV this Sunday, September 28th, at 9:00 PM ET

Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) (NASDAQ: SBSA) announced today that the highly anticipated Megaseries, “Gabriel,” will premiere this Sunday, September 28th, at 9:00 PM ET on Mega TV.

Produced by Megafilms and DirecTV Más, “Gabriel” is the first scripted dramatic Megaseries, filmed in high-definition with 3-D animation and special effects. The cast includes some of Spanish-language’s most renowned actors such as: Chayanne, Angélica Celaya, José Luis “El Puma” Rodríguez, Laura Ferretti, Sebastián Ligarde, Julián Gil, Mirta Renee, Laura Zerra, Freddy Víquez, Juan David Ferrer, Álvaro Ruiz, Marcos Miranda, Leonardo Krys, Camila Banus and the young singing sensation, Alexia.

Chayanne portrays the modern day vampire, “Gabriel,” a tortured being whose only hope of salvation lies in reuniting with his reincarnated soulmate, Eva, played by the Mexican starlet, Angélica Celaya. Eva was killed over 300 years ago when Gabriel was still mortal and his village was attacked by the bloodthirsty, conquistador-turned-nightstalker, Pizarro, portrayed by the renowned José Luis “El Puma” Rodríguez. Doomed to roam eternal darkness after being cursed by an Inca princess as revenge for the destruction of her village, Pizarro threatens to once again rob Gabriel of his long-lost love.
